Privacy Policy

SpendJar · Last updated August 2026

The short version: SpendJar collects nothing at all. Here's the longer version, in plain English.

Your data stays on your device

SpendJar does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Everything you enter into the app — jar names, amounts, spending history, and your PIN — is saved locally on your device only.

No analytics or tracking

We do not use any analytics tools, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs that collect usage data. We have no way of knowing how you use the app, and that is by design.

No account required

SpendJar requires no account, email address, or any other personal information to use. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile to create.

Data deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device settings.

Children's privacy

SpendJar is designed to be used by children under parental supervision. Because no data ever leaves the device, there is no risk of a child's information being collected or shared.
